January 20th 2021 marks the 20th Anniversary of the first ever Fire Museum Presents gig which was held at Tuva Space in Berkeley, Ca. Thanks to the Bay Improviser Calendar for keeping the link up all these years!
See the listing for our first ever event here!
ZS of Swezlex was one of the performers at this event. For tonight’s “broadcast” they are collaborating with Bran (..) Pos who performed at the second ever Fire Museum Presents event which took place on May 5th 2001 at the Stork Club in Oakland, Ca.
Juba Kalamka also performed at that second ever event, in a duo version of Deep Dickollective (D/DC). Juba also performed at our Bay Area going away event, the “Sonic Circus” held at 21 Grand (the 416 25th St location) in Oakland.
(Here’s the listing for our second ever event!)
(might as well throw in the Sonic Circus as well)
Ending the evening is Tatsuya Nakatani, who is also celebrating his birthday on the 20th! Now based in Truth or Consequences New Mexico, Tatsuya has performed multiple times at our events in Philadelphia, at the Icebox Project Space, The Rotunda, Pageant : Soloveev and other venues in town (we look forward to holding live events with you again when the time finally comes).
